How much did you pay per night?: 30cuc
My review about the casa: We had a wonderful time at Marilyn's casa. She looked after us so well. Our room was separated from the her house by a path through her garden. Our room was beautifully clean with a fan, air con and even mosquito nets (which we did not need) Everything in our room was spotless. We were looked after like family friends and nothing was too much trouble. She organised horse riding and even walked with us to a restaurant in the evening. Marilyn also organised transport to Trinidad which required a change of driver south of Havana. Nothing was too much trouble. Marilyn's English is excellent and you talk to her on anything; she always understands.
How was your room?: Very clean and spacious with an en suite bathroom. A double bed and a single bed.
How was the food they offer?: The breakfasts Marilyn provided were delicious with lots of fruit and fruit juices.Delicious coffee too. So much to eat. She is a very generous host.

Casa Marilyn y Adel
My review: We had a truly wonderful stay at this casa. It was a number one Trip Advisor casa in 2013 and the reasons are most definitely obvious. The accommodation (two rooms) is separate from the main house - spacious, beautifully laid out, beautifully furnished and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts Marilyn provided were divine. We also enjoyed a very nice dinner. Marilyn was extremely easy to talk to and we came away feeling we had gained a new friend. Although her husband, Adel, couldn't speak English as well as Marilyn we enjoyed very much our limited conversations with him. We would highly recommend this casa.
How was your room?: Fabulous room that included provision of soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc - all luxuries difficult to come by in Cuba as well as a hairdryer. The room even had mosquito nets if they were required.
How was the food they offer?: Absolutely delicious breakfasts - the best including fresh fruit, fresh juice, eggs, bread, honey, ham, cake - everything imaginable. All served with a smile. Dinner was also excellent.
Other services they offer: Marilyn would like you to enjoy everything that Vinales has to offer. She not only makes suggestions but will help arrange anything that will contribute to making Vinales a memorable experience.

CASA MARILYN Y ADEL
My review: we stayed at Marilyn's and Adel's casa last month. we stayed for only two nights.
Marilyn welcomed us with great hospitality, and immedietly we felt welcome
I highly recommend staying for 3-4 because there's a lot to do and see in the area.
This area was by far the best part of our trip to Cuba, a lot thanks to Marilyn!
The breakfast and dinner were amazing and Marilyn is super helpful and nice.
She helped us arrange horseback riding trips in the valley and also a tour guide in english for a walking tour in the area.
Marilyn is an English teacher in her proffesion so her English is great, and it was lovely to talk to her and get to know more about the Cuban culture and life style.
I can't wait to get back again to visit here on my next trip :)

Casa Marilyn y Adel
My review: I cannot recommend this excellent casa highly enough. Marilyn met us from the Viazul and from that moment on met our every need. She isan incredibly interesting host with a lovely family and she speaks excellent English. While in Vinales for four days, Marilyn organised all our trips and tours and got them at very reasonable prices. She even organised our next casa and a taxi to take us to it.
The casa itself is perfectely located to enjoy the town and the countryside and it has wonderful facilities including a roof terrace and patio. The bathrooms to both the room are en suite and of a very high standard - there was even a hairdryer!
How was your room?: The room was spotless, comfortable and has excellent, modern air conditioning.
How was the food they offer?: Marilyn fed us both breakfast and dinner. Her foor was excellent and very reasonably priced and there was more than enough of it.
Other services they offer: Marilyn helped with every query and organised transfers for us to Cienfuegos. She organised pony trecking and a visit to Cayo Jutias.
Other comments: This is a first rate casa and outstanding value for money.

Casa de Marilyn
My review: It was the second time for me that I stayed for a couple of days in this casa and this time I was with my girlfriend (Cuban).
Again everything was perfect and I recognized her warm welcome from last time.
The first time I needed her perfect English, but the 3 years in between I studied some spanish and it was very nice to speak spanish with her now.
The casa and the food were outstanding and her advice to visit the caves was well taken too.
She and her husband are the perfect hosts, so thanks a lot Marilyn and Adel! See you next time!
How was your room?: The bed was like a good hotelbed and the shower and atmosphere were very nice. We slept like daisies 2 nights long.
How was the food they offer?: Like the first time the food was delicious!
Other services they offer: English speaking (if you need it) which is a real pre for newcomers.

Casa Marilyn y Adel
My review: Pasamos dos noches en casa de Marilyn y Abel en Noviembre de 2014. La casa está muy centrica, a 5 minutos andando de donde paran los autobuses y fácil de localizar.
La casa es maravillosa, muy acogedora, limpia y bien cuidada. Además Marilyn realmente pone mucho interés en hacer que te sientas bien recibido y cómodo. Además si lo necesitas te puede ayudar a reservar excursiones por el valle.
La comida es sin duda uno de los puntos fuertes de la casa, cenamos en la casa los dos días y es una experiencia realmente recomendable. Es imposible acabarse toda la comida que sirven, la cual además está muy sabrosa.
En resumen fue una gran experiencia. Si volvieramos a Viñales sin duda repetiríamos casa.
